UPDATE: I did the Aquarium Salt bath and he did really well! He even ate his dinner during the Salt Bath after calming down for a few minutes! After he went through rehab I put him back in the main tank, he was a bit loopy, then he dashed down into the Amazon Sword leaves. To my knowledge he's still there calming down. A little restless, but the lights off so he's probably going to go to sleep soon. Thank you all for your help! I hope this works!

Freshwater fish / Re: Erythromycin Safe for Snails?« on: May 05, 2020, 10:59:34 pm »K, this is my plan:It came in packets, which treat 10 Gallons each, it says to pour one in, wait 24 hours or something, do a PWC, and repeat 3 more times or so. They are pretty unclear, I am going to try Aquarium Salt first and I will update you all.Ok, definitely keep us updated. I am going to do a bath after my PWC. I will get one gallon of water, put it in a container with 1/2 tsp Aquarium Salt, then pour some into a separate container 1/4 of the way, and fill the rest with aquarium water. I will then net him, put him in the salt for 8 minutes if he does fine, put him in the rehab container for 5 minutes, and net him back into the aquarium. Sound like a good plan? Water will be temperature matched within 2º F. 5

Ok, he hasn't got much worse over the past few days, I finally received my package with E.M. Erythromycin and Aquarium Salt! Would you say I should try Aquarium Salt first or Erythromycin (I would do salt baths)? How much Erythromycin should I dose if I end up using it? I assume I should continue PWCs. Thanks for all the help in advance.

I totally agree with you, I had just decided to move to medication as PWCs haven't been working. 10

(Thumbnail, full image, etc.)Got it to work. If you want me to specify any tank details I can, I just did not because I already went through that process on FL 11

Oh, I forgot to mention, I did already try multiple things to treat it, I am still doing daily water changes, I tried a Methylene Blue dip, but nothing worked! I had a thread on FL and we settled on Aquarium Salt or Erythromycin. I ordered both but they were delayed 7-10 days.

Hi, I was just wondering if Erythromycin is invert safe, as I might need to use it to treat Fin Rot. Thanks.
